Welcome to MarTu Shih Tzu where we lovingly breed in our NC home for health, temperament, and to suit the AKC standard. Our goals at MarTu Shih Tzu are to show and selectively breed the best quality Shih Tzu in health, temperament and look. We are committed to this breed and are a responsible, ethical Shih Tzu breeder. Generally I raise just a few litters a year, and though we breed strictly for ourselves, puppies are sometimes available. I am totally in love with Shih Tzu and have never known such loving, caring animals. The longer I have them the more I marvel at their intelligence, beauty and the love they give to their owners. And, at times it does seem they own us rather than the other way around!! Shih Tzu wrap themselves around your heart and run with it. We feel it is very important for us to be responsible for any puppies we produce so all pet Shih Tzu puppies are sold on strict spay/neuter contracts and limited AKC registration. Shih Tzu show puppy prospects are sold on a show contract. We want only loving homes for all of our Shih Tzu puppies. Bringing new lives into the world should NEVER be taken lightly. We love this breed and I could not imagine life without these bundles of joy. I will always try to respond to each inquiry and question.
